and now there are SEVEN! 'Theale Oil Group' Somerset

I have been running an oil syndicate in our village THEALE in Somerset for several years. There are currently 80 households in the group whom I call twice a year to collect any orders. Due to the success of the group I have had to set up boundries to keep it manageable! I welcome folk from other areas to contact me if you want to start up a similar group of your own and want tips to start off! Really it's quite easy, but you have to be organised!
It's particularly satisfying to get a call from a member to say that by filling up their oil tank through the group community order it has saved them 1/2 of their winter fuel payment - wonderful!

We are two pensionsers. We run the Kilsby Oil Club. We started our Club in September 2010 we now have 180 members in the Village. We have had three Bulk buys to-date.We estimate we have saved our Village over £7000 to-date. We use a list of 14 supplies that we get our prices from.
